EasyAmp has no user accounts, no ads, no analytics, no telemetry, and no crash reporting. It does not build a profile of you, and nothing about your music, files, or usage ever leaves your computer.
The only thing the app sends over the network is a small check for a newer version when it starts. That's it.
What the app does
When EasyAmp launches, it requests one small file - https://dl.easyampstereo.com/latest.json - to see whether a newer release is available. If there is, it lights an "update available" badge in the footer. The app sends no account, no device ID, and no personal information with this request - it's an ordinary web request for a public file, the same kind your browser makes loading any page.
If you never launch the app, no connection is ever made.
What our server sees
Like virtually every website, our servers (easyampstereo.com and dl.easyampstereo.com) keep standard access logs: your IP address, the date and time, your browser/app user-agent string, and which file was requested. These logs exist only to operate and secure the service.
We do not sell, rent, or share this information, and we don't use it to track or profile anyone. There are no advertising or analytics third parties involved.
▮ No cookies, no trackers
This site loads only its own files (styles, scripts, fonts) from our server. It sets no cookies and includes no third-party analytics, ad, or tracking scripts.
⤓ Hosted on GitHub
App installers and bundles are served from GitHub Releases, so a download request is handled by GitHub under their privacy statement. The Linux Flatpak repo is served from our own dl.easyampstereo.com.
