EasyAmp is completely open source and it will always be free. No paywalls, no "pro" tier, no telemetry, no ads. Download it, fork it, tear it apart, rebuild it - that's the whole point.
If you make it better, send a pull request. Found a bug or want a feature? Open an issue. This is a community-built tribute, and the door is open.
⎇ Pull requests welcome
The full source - app, packaging, and CI for Windows, macOS, and Linux - lives on GitHub under the MIT license.
✶ An era, not a clone
EasyAmp uses an original name and original artwork - no trademarked names, logos, or skin bitmaps from any media player. It's a love letter to the late-90s desktop audio player, built fresh in GTK4.
Built on open source
EasyAmp exists because of the people who built the layers underneath it. Thank you to:
- ▸ GStreamer - playback pipeline, the
equalizer-10bandsgraphic EQ, and the capture source. - ▸ PipeWire - audio capture for the visualizer.
- ▸ GTK 4 / PyGObject - the UI toolkit.
- ▸ DSEG 7-segment font by keshikan (SIL OFL).
- ▸ Pixelify Sans by Stefie Justprince (SIL OFL).
Maintain something EasyAmp uses and want different credit? Open an issue - we'll fix it.
